This is my first creamfields festival and i was just wondering what to expect regarding, camping, the people who are there, things to do other then music, security and the search on the front gate. Also where will you lot be hoping to camp this year??

Thanks

It's all gravy baby, camping is o.k if you like slumming it, most people are cool but you do get the odd chav and chavette elements everywhere. Police are good too.. they are not out to get you, they are there for your safety and like to see you have a good safe time.. dunno about the searches and whatnot though as I have never been searched :)

Have fun doodles ;)

I love camping so that sides alright, just cant be assed with any nobs, but i suppose youve gotta expect them everywhere. im taking a small set of speakers will they be alright for using on campsite or are they strict on anything like that? wouldnt mind meeting a few veterans there just for tips like.

thanks for the reply :)

Hi, this is my 4th Creamfields and to be honest every year has been super, i have seen very little trouble and have met some really cool people, like you say yoa have to exspect a few twats as thats just life, I have never taken speakers but my brother is taking some this year so i hope we can get in with them, i think it does state in the rules that ya can't but i seen so many people with them last year, we have decided to take them this year! Think we have decided to camp in the green campsite as its close to arena's and close to the posh loos coz we have bought a wristband for them too! Im sure you will have a fab time! :D

    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
