Has anyone from the UK on this forum been here before ? Seriously considering this for my 21st next year, combine it with 4 days in New York before hand.

Few questions really:

What are the prices like compared to the UK in and around Chicago for this ?

Are hostels difficult to get in Chicago for this and are they expensive ?

Are tickets easy to get hold of ?

What's the atmosphere like ?

Anyone who could help would be brilliant, now I've looked into it, I think I'd prefer this to Benicassim, just need some advice first.

i'll find out some info for you md. my mate lives there and goes every year and he rates it. hotels may be a sticking point as he doesn't use 'em but if there are a few of you i'd get in a hostel anyways which will keep the costs down for a start.

Spot on mate, that's exactly what I was looking for, many thanks. I might get looking for hostels now, see what the general conscientious is and if there cheap enough along with the flights this sounds do-able.

The kids issue, I guess would be no worse than over here with V surely so wouldn't really bother me too much. The walk like wise will probs be no worse than at say Glasto.
