For the first time in years I parked on the east side of the site.

As has been happening for years, when you exit the site after the festival, they direct you south, down to the A303. I understand why they do this, so that so0me of the traffic goes in a different direction to the rest, making the traffic flow better around those county roads.

But the result for me and I'm sure many others is that the mileage I drive on the way home is increased dramatically - in my own case it more than doubled.

So despite the festival making all sorts of efforts to lower its carbon footprint, some of what it does increases it - and I bet that none of their 'green' calculations take this into account.

Perhaps this should be reviewed?
