Returning to car

Hi

Festical newbie here!! Thanks for great forum, I've had a look around for the answer to my question so apologies if I have missed it.

I was wondering if you are allowed to return to your car from the campsite to collect things during the event. i.e. to get some dry clothes, a spare sleeping bag or (ahem) perhaps a few more beers etc.

Looked on the FAQ on the official website but it is is not clear; it refers to something called the 'pass out' scheme but then doesn't explain what this is.

Yea you can, think they stop you going about 6pm though

You can only take alcohol in on your first trip though.

Thanks for fast reply. Sounds like best plan is to take as much 'reasonable anoubt' of alcohol in on first trip through security then go back for non-essentials (e.g. tent, sleeping bag etc.) later.

Was planing on openly carrying crate of beer in hands with rucksac on back with spirits hidden in rolled up clothes etc. - does this sound feasible?

Trick is to take your tent in on the first trip so you can set it up and stash your booze. Then go back to the car if need be.
