Good Evening! Tonight I shall be weviewing the latest offewing that has weceived gwate acclaim on The Efest Forwum and has claimed 12 +1s so far..... Oafish v No1 on Weddy Steady Cook!

I will be speaking to the author about his latest piece of fiction and asking him "Why?"

But, first... Oafish v No1. The two main characters are based on weal life people who masquewade almost twenty four hours a day on an internet forwum exchanging verbals non-stop. Apart fwom when character Oafish has to take his daughter Annabelle to Pwime Minister lessons the two are at it like Quagmire and Doll.

The beauty of GDs witing lies in both telling it like it is coupled with a perception of the pwotagonists twue personality. The topical nature of Oafish v No1 on Weddy Steady Cook is highlighted by GDs use of his mention of No1 and his £140 takeaways and conversely the assumption that Oafish would take Monkfish Tail onto the progwamme.

The fact that everybody knows Monkfish Tail isn`t available in Warrington, Oafishs` town of abode is yet another insight into the authors sharp eye for detail.

He favours neither party to any gweat extent in the piece and shows both affection and dismay towards both.

Grate Denini wealises that Oafish isn`t as wich as he actually makes out and attempts to parody this in other Posts such as "Oafish isn`t as Wich as He makes Out" and "He`s not wicher than Yow!".

All the while GD wealises that at any point No1 can take his ball back and pull the plug on Discussions, so he knows he can only go so far.

His mention of No1s fateful gaff wegarding the £140 takeaways is a calculated gamble but softens it when Oafish is called a twat.

So, now, I have on the line The Grate Denini himself.....

"Hello Grate Denini".

"Now then."

"Why did you decide to write this piece?"

"Eeee lad. Ar divvent really knaa. Was like thee knaas i`d seen like them arl the time like yer knaa, on the forum like, just callin each other c**ts like y`know...."

"Well, we`ll leave it there for now Denini, thank you for that!"

The Grate Denini there ladies and gentlemen.Perhaps a voice to wead and not have on the wadio.

Next week I shall be weviewing Happy Birthday Katster and looking at why Pogo became The Jobby Jabber.

Till next week.....

den ;)

    • Hello. I was hoping this fine community could help me with an inquiry.   I had the most magical afternoon in 2025 dancing to my favourite artist, Rizzle Kicks, with two vibrant ladies and a dashing man. The girls had lathered up with what looked like extra suncream while he was wearing a distinctive piece of hatwear.   We were thick as thieves and had a jack ball, before retiring to a nearby refreshment stand to munch some sushi.   Sadly, I'd had a shandy and did not get any of their names or numbers. Foolish! Chalk it up to that classic Glasto spirit, a bauble of which lives within me very tightly all year long.   But fortunate strikes when you least it expect it... while browsing the ol' twitter, I came across a photo of what certainly looked like it might have been them. I shall attach below. My memory is a little hazy so I can't be sure.   Does anyone know who they are? And if so, how I can in touch with them?
    • Happy to report there are still some really good people in the world. I went to 'in conversation' talks with Maxine Peake and Chris Packham today. Two fine examples of humanity.
    • More performance than gig, but The Eccentronic Research Council with Maxine Peake was quite the experience. Readings of peoples dream narratives over electronic beats and bleeps, and a bit of Shelley to finish.
    • Zach Bryan at Anfield last night was unreal. One of my favourite gigs that.   There’s a Glasto headliner there one day.
