Depends on which way you are coming I guess. If you want a supermarket to get your booze then there is a tesco in Shaftesbury, and several supermarkets in Salisbury.

Salsibury tho has a very annoying one-way system, I would opt for Shaftesbury for buying supplies

As a fellow Glaswegian - now living way down south, and working the Festival, I would STRONGLY advise you to get your carry-out in at a Glasgow establishment.

TESCO at NITSHILL or POLLOCK - cheap at half the price.

I'm assuming you're driving down. The nearest towns are about 8/10 miles away, some even further ! Verwood is probably the nearest - decent size Morrisons but, you'll probably NEVER find it and you'll end up lost in Gussage St.Michael or Sixpenny Hanley, and you'll live out your lives with the pigs up in the hills !!

Shaftesbury someone recommended ! - ok if you're coming up from further south - hardly Glasgow. Salisbury's a good bet, but, as suggested, it's a traffic nightmare.

Again, if you're driving and you've got the space, bring it with you - or even stop off at Southwaite Services and ram raid the joint.
