Afternoon/Evening

Been having a nosey on the forum for the past few days and thaught i would sign up and say hey to everyone going Creamfields

Im Dan aka Dangle from Stafford and 22... into House, Dnb and a massive massive Dubstep fan

1st festival/music event i will have ever been too including a few of my friends thay are going too.

Got a few questions that im sure you'll help me out with

1)If you turn upto the gates early do they normally open up early or just wait outside untill they do open?

2)Its a no re-entry event... if your camping can you go back to the car to gram more things if you cannot carry them all in one go?

ahhhh I remember losing my V... I was 14 she was 21 with a bush like barbed wire!!

1) its a bit of a treck from the perimiter to the gate so the perimiter gates usually open early to let you start queing for the searches and whatnot...

2) yeah you can usually go back to the car to GRAB stuff

... of me having to carry evetything in one go and not being able to manage it all.

Hmmm looks like we will be turning up at stupid oclock then, i know for a fact im not going to be able to sleep and im the one whos driving so can see me setting off at like 3 or 4 am and just taking it easy and arriving there abut 5/6am.

Would rather be stuck closer and being able to doze in the car than be stuck in slow moving traffic most the way there

This is true... but you would be supprised how many people will have the same idea as you!!!

No you can't go back. You got to take the lot in one go. If you don't think you can carry it all bring a mini trolley thing. People always have them and take it in turns to haul their gear in.

Yeah it was my understanding that once you're in, you're in, no pass outs to the car parks etc etc.

btw can u use camping stoves in the campsite or do you have to take them to the "bbq" area??

I used to wear high viz jackets all the time til one night I had a fight with a manager in Nation who was literally trying to pull it off my back and saying I couldnt wear it. I never wore one since.

I was only 18 I think. And this woman just comes marching up to me trying to rip it off me. When i took it off she said she was confiscating it!!! I said she wasnt. She said I'd look too much like a member of staff to wear it. And I thought to myself "do all your members of staff wear barry M make up and goth pants??? Do all your members of staff write obscenties all over their jackets???" Hmmmmmmmmm

yea once u exchange ur ticket for a wristband theres no goin back, u could take some stuff to near the exchange point and get some of ur mates to stay there with it while u got the rest but if ur in, ur in! nd if u go out u cant get back in lol

ul be fine man, last year we didnt get into the car park till bout 12ish and the campsite about an hour after that, ok i know everyone would rather be set up and chillin for a while b4 the arenas open at 2 but thats just a guidline for u to say even if u dont get to the car parks til about 12 ur not gunna miss any music

Aye aye Captain. I will drink in moderation. On Creamfields morning. And in excess in the afternoon. I saw someone getting escorted out of Creamfields at 6pm once. For being very very drunk. But she was being funny about it, not a dickhead. She kept thanking the police for helping her, and wanted to kiss one of them.
