question about arrival times on thursday... help!

hi everyone

last year i didnt have this problem as my mates had early bird so took my tents and set up for me

this year were all going on the thursday(to reading) wanted to camp in orange same as last year, how quickly does it fill up to packed??

what time would i need to be in there to set up and get a decent size camp for us, we have 7 tents so need quite a big spot!

Supposedly the campsite opens at 3AM Thursday, so at that point it will be quiet and only early entries will be in, so space shouldn't be a huge problem

Last year we had abou 8 or 9 tents in orange. Got into the site at about 9ish

There were still quite a few spaces in Orange, but they were selling like hot cakes.
