mmm dont really see the point of going to see some bloke standing there playing pre-recorded music when there is a "proper" band on!!!

Might have thought differently if I knew the likes of Estelle, Kid Cuddi and Kelly Rowland were going to be making an appearance, but it aint gonna happen

Im torn between the 2 im a big fan of kings of leons old stuff the lastest album doesnt do it for me hoping if they are to play some new stuff il be defo watching them. Saw Guetta last year at global i was shocked how good this guy was the whole tent was boucing youll all be very surprised on how good he is live. Also depends on if Groove Armada are headlining the Arena.

Ditto...yeah as long as he stays away from his wn songs he will be fine, although I doubt he will top Fatboy slim's tunes last year which were amazing (although my bloke said fatboy wasnt even dj'ing live and it was all pre recorded which I thought was pretty disappointing), but still did it for me :)

Its a hard one to call as Groove Armada are on too (they were amazing at Creamfields a few years ago) and Tom Middleton is playing in the Strongbow rooms last thing too - he is an amazing DJ...gutted, decisions decisions

well the view i take is that I'm at a festival, not a club night, so if there are live bands playing i'm going to soak up as many as i can. I can go see DJ's at clubs every week, but i cant see the likes of KOL every week. I'm seeing Groove Armada at Leeds O2 later in the year so at least i can afford to miss them at V

    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
