RIP my wristbands

I've finally decided to grow up, get a little bit cleaner and cut my Glastonbury wristbands off. For 3 years they've (literally) been part of me, but the time has come and they have to go.

It's a sad day when the roll of dirty, sweaty cloth on your arm has become so rank and curled up that it no longer draws comments of 'wow you went to glastonbury' but instead elicits looks of disgust and revulsion at every turn.

Or maybe I'm just not individual enough to be smelly

I wouldn't say they were stinky and horrible, as I always made sure they were clean.... but I have some important formal stuff coming up soon, so felt it was time (as they don't really send the right message).

Gonna miss those guys.

I can't/won't get rid of mine - I'm suffering from post Glasto blues so bad at the moment - looking down at them little blighters is somehow pasting a smile across my chops!
