Whats open on the wednesday/thursday?

as per the title what is open on the wednesday, and what opens on the thursday? last year i spent the first two days in the tent as i arrived at the festival with tonsilitus

Check out the clashfinder, there's a few things happening on Wednesday, and more on the Thursday. Think most of the bars will be open, and the greenfields too. Ususally something going on in the circus fields too.

Loads. If you get bored on the Wednesday or Thursday, you're doing it wrong.

Nothing is happening, the Festival does not officially start until Friday - stay at home and come on Friday morning

I always used to think the days when there was nothing happening were the best. All you had to do was chill out in a field full of bars!

Then I chilled out a little bit too much one year, and broke myself!

Hoping to have my tent pitched by lunchtime on Wednesday. Cant wait to explore the grounds. Hope I dont peak too early though. I tent to go hell for leather at festivals on the first day/night and then suffer through the remainding days. The longest I have camped at previous festivals has been 3 days (every year at Electric Picnic in Ireland) so I will have to restrain myself this year and ease into the festivities gently.
