A World Cup-watcher's Question!

Hi all,

I'm sure this has been mentioned on here somewhere already, but I have literally JUST joined.

I know I can watch the England match on the Wednesday at 3pm at the Pyramid stage, but where can I watch the rest of the matches/the last 16 games (if, please please please, we make it!)?

Many thanks in advance!

It has been officialy said that the next England game after Wednesday (which will either be Sat 7.30 or Sun 3.00) will be shown somewhere on site, but not the Pyramid. Rumours say the park but nothing official yet.

I has also been said that none England games will not be shown, but you may find somewhere but nothing official.

This is my 1st post so hello. I have found the following quote on glastoearth from Phil the operations manager

"This year also brings Phil one of those challenges that only comes around every so often: Football. With England expected to play a critical World Cup game on either Saturday or Sunday - and all the stages booked for acts - the festival of course needs a plan for the inevitable frenzy of red and white.

"We've got a dedicated space for it - just west of the Dairy Unit, away from the main venues - with room for 40,000".

Hope this helps.

    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
    • Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
