]Marmok Gourmet Riders Festival

It gives us great pleasure to be able to invite you to the first edition of the Marmok Gourmet Riders Festival, which will take place at Günlüklü Bay, Göcek, Fethiye on the 11-13 June 2010.

This event is organised by Marmok MC as a cultural event, additionally the local Association of Chefs

have offered their expertise and specialist involvement to develop this event.

The aim of the Marmok Gourmet Riders festival is to attract bikers, chefs, restaurant critics and all food lovers for a gastronomic celebration. We are expecting a variety of restaurant chefs to travel to the festival to join the resident chefs from the city's top restaurants for a culinary showcase (as advertised in local and national press).

Each night of the festival, the gourmet feature will be the chefs working together to present their signature menus containing many delectable treats.

Additionally there will be cooking competitions for both amateurs and professionals (all held in the open air on 12 June), food seminars and demonstrations, and also a gourmet food fair where visitors can buy traditional gifts and foods. There will be opportunities for food tasting.

The cooking competitions are open to all expats willing to face the challenge, and you can feature your own national dishes or demonstrate your Turkish culinary skills!

The panel of Judges consist of a culinary author and numerous celebrity guests.

In addition to the gourmet aspects the festival will host a variety of activities including~

The Turkish Greek singer Fedon, girl rock band JEDI, the Alper Kayman Band with the Bermuda Band,

and dancers Tribal Orient Aslı Özhabeş.

There will be various sports activities such as professional boxing tournament, free style motorbike show, an air show, paragliders, and not forgetting the tradional Marmok bikers competitions!
