Glasto Blues

A couple of years ago, I lost my festival to the amazing acts on the Jazz World stage - Buddy Guy, Solomon Burke, Eddy Grant - blues, motown and a bit of reggae in the sunshine with a brother's cider. Ahhh... Holts seems to be more funk this year (which isn't a bad thing!) - but just wondering if anyone can suggests some bands playing this year I may have missed that fit in with the type of stuff I've mentioned earlier. Mr Stevie Wonder is of course a given.

totally got that full field skankin a few years bank when they headlined the same time as ole macca.

If you wanna be skankin go and see LOS ALBERTOS!!!! No clue when or where they're playing but I've seen them a couple of times now and they are ace!

I would recommend Sea Sick Steve, ok maybe a little bit of country but a healthy tinge of blues in his work.

hes on the Pyramid on Saturday afternoon, if youve not listened to his stuff there is plenty on Youtube to give you a taste.

Have to go see The Black Keys (seems thats all i post about lately) but they're f**king epic.

Been listening to their earlier albums and they're immense. Happily go to Glasto just to see these guys!
