Does anyone else hope that the line up is really shit next year?

Why r u saying I shouldn't go. I was just saying a rubbish lineup is a mental idea as in a stupid idea. Eavis isn't going to think 'why don't i get celine dion and the Hoosiers to play so people won't watch them and can walk around more'.

I was just saying I do exploring 1st couple of days and watch music the other days.

I wasn't saying you shouldn't go.

Neither was I debating the point of whether you explore the first couple of days and watch music the other days.

Chill out a bit and take things with a pinch of salt... You're going to stress yourself into an early grave here if you keep on like this! :D

Hey Guys,

I hope I'm not the only one thinking this but I really hope that the line up is shit so I get more time to wonder round the circus feilds! I found that I enjoyed watching the circus acts far more than I did watching my favourite band on the pyramid! Rolf Harris, The Flaming Lips and Radiohead would keep me happy but to be honest they are a dead cert! Also put a few 80s reggae bands and i'll be a happy boy. Who else doesn't care/ wants the line up to be shit?

Cheers,

So you want the line up to be poor but you want your favourite bands on? Well which is it to be? Either you want Radiohead, Flaming Lips (who I assume would constitue a good line up for you?) to appear or you don't?

Anyway, if your preferance is to walk around than you can do this irrespective of which bands are on, as it's what you prefer doing. Your post is littered with contradictions.

It's contradictory because on the one hand you're saying you want the line up to be shit. On the other your saying you want it to include bands you like. How can a line up with bands you like be shit?

It's also irrational on the basis that you want the line up to be poor as you'd rather do other things. Wouldn't the inclination be to do what you prefer i.e. you'd go and do things besides watching bands if that's what you wanted to do more than anything else? It's as though you're asking for shit alternatives so you can do the things which you've never done before due to better options.

    • Hasn't Farage been fighting for 30 years for Britain to leave the world?
    • Lower league football has this more regularly, no? Quite often I'll see League 1/2 sides have signed a whole new 11 every summer.    Admittedly, changing the entire squad is different.
    • Oh yeah I'd forgotten about their mad scramble to get back from LA to Glastonbury. Though at least there you can blame multiple flight cancellations. I do agree though that it's fair to ask why you'd risk a similar sh*t show.
    • So who's got a good rain dance in the locker, then? Now we're in August the weather watchers can come out of hiding.    Already having flashbacks to last year (the dust cloud of doom at the crossroads by the Courtyard entrance).   Also got to be looking sketchy for the fire/fireworks on the Sunday. Might be a controversial opinion but wouldn't mind it - the fencing annoyance isn't worth the 10 mins of 'oooohhh, aaahhhh', plus the raining of hot embers last year!
