Anyone else having to go on Friday?

So frustrating listening to the updates on the radio about people arriving today etc!!

I cant go till friday after my other half finishes work !

Feels like Im the only one !

I really feel for the people who are arriving as late as saturday afternoon, Luckily I arrive on site tommorow at 7AM but you guys are missing out on so much of the festival.

Im pee'd at missing a good chunk of Friday, we wont be there till 9pm ish , we have motor home so least we dont have to put up tent etc...

but as said already .. Better late than never !

well just an Update , My lovley other half has just announced that he will be finished at 3pm ish friday now!! and so we could now be leaving by 4pm now instead of 6pm like we thought it would be...

Yeah Im arriving 7.30(ish) AM on Friday (as long as I don't get lost and there is not much traffic). Very frustrating because ill miss World Cup, and all the meets. Ah Well, I don't miss music... Does anyone know how easy it is to find a place to set up camp on Friday morning?

I'll be going in on Friday as well. Went to the site with my friend today..only he went in and I got stuck in there as the buses back to glastonbury weren't going so i had to hitch hike

im getting into bristol airport tomoro at 14:10pm, want to get to the festival the quickest way possible, this is probably taxi but i'll be on my own so dont really want to pay the £50 quid fare. is there a bus that goes from bristol airport direct to the festival?

I'll be turning up tomorrow. Not camping though - staying in a cottage.

There is a regular shuttle bus from Bristol Airport to Bristol Temple Meads Station. From Temple Meads there are apparently regular buses going to the festival, or you could get a train to Castle Cary and use the free shuttle bus from there.

This would definitely take longer than a taxi, but on the other hand it'll be a lot cheaper!

Was talking to a bus driver on wednesday when he pulled in and he said it took him 9 hours to get from Bristol to the festival!!!!! One woman got off less than half way and made it there before the bus!

That was on Wednesday though, it shouldn't be that bad. Traffic is still pretty terrible, mind
