De La Soul

I heard in magazines like Q and on some other internet sources that De La Soul are playing on the Friday on the Jazz/World stage, and yet in other places there's no mention whatsoever, and certainly no news on them having pulled out or anything.

So what's the deal? Did they initially agree and then pull out? Are they one of the secret gigs/special guests? Would love to see them!!!

well i cant say for sure but someone asked the same thing a week or two ago and the general consensus was a definite no no. they were rumoured a while ago but have since disappeared from the line up without a trace.

I for one would love to see them so here's hoping they do appear... but i wouldn't get your hopes up!

i hope so, coz i missed them in glasgow last week, couldnt aford to go as glasto took priority, they are touring the now, so i think its possible!

hmmm, i might be wrong but wasnt it the BBC who had de la soul on their line up briefly when it first came out? if so he may just be going by the old bbc line up, or maybe he knows something we don't...? (i doubt it though, he's probably just got it wrong!)

dunno about this really, they were confirmed and then are pulled completely whilst in the middle of a tour ? haven't got any reason to suppose there was a huge mistake originally,still feel hopeful though.

i was on their myspace they got a gig on the 2oth in california so i just cant see it now if they are back over that side of the world gutted!
