Ok so this is a random one. I’m sober and this year I have also quit my other biggest vice - Coca Cola (and other fizzy drinks). I manage this by consistently drinking a f**kload of fizzy water from my at home fizzy water maker. Despite being in a campervan I can’t really justify taking the entire contraption with me. Equally buying case of fizzy water in single use bottles doesn’t feel like it’s in tune with the festival ethos. Can anybody recommend any cans of fizzy water or let me know if I can easily get it on site for not a squillion quid? -
Finally made our booking last night. Have to admit so far I’ve been really impressed with their customer service and attention to detail in the booking confirmation email. I have a feeling it’s going to be a really good experience with them! -
They advertise it as being a flat 15/20 minute walk to the Pyramid stage I believe. They’ve told me they are located 30 metres from Gate D. If you Google maps the location for Holt Farm and then compare it you should be able to figure out the distance. I checked from Holt Farm to the Park Stage and it worked out about 1.3km so about 15 mins walking time which isn’t bad!

Acoustic is further up the hill past the tent , keep walking up the lane and it’s in the next field up through a gate silver Hayes - opposite lovely hearts from memory west holts - face the stage and there is a path going into Caberet field - along the fencing on the right is a door and sign above the door - it’s through there -

The Tuesday night last year I went to sleep around 1:30 am then back up at 4am to watch the sun rise over the stone circle (it was solstice ) , wandered along a totally empty railway track , grabbed a smoothy from a guy just setting up and went and chilled at the sign - you could hear from up there various cheers from outside gates - i watched the gates open , the site fill up and then wandered back to my tent for a few hours rest before back out when the site was a lot fuller 🙂 very special memories
