Ferry Information

We have been advised by the ferry people at Wightlink of the following:

Bookings are essential for travel on 11 & 12 June from the mainland and on 15 June from the Island.

Please be advised that vehicles will not be accepted onto any of their Terminals until 30 minutes prior to the booked departure time on 11, 12 June from the mainland & 15 June from the Island. Regrettably any passengers turning up earlier than 30 minutes prior to their booked time, will be turned away and asked to come back closer to the booked sailing time. This is due to the high volume of traffic travelling to and from the Isle of Wight Festival.

just read this and it made me book my ferry on the 5:15pm ferry so fingers crossed i can finish work early

booked train too - was cheaper for me to book 2 singles and also easier because it is anytime tickets which mean i ont have to be on a certain time train

Hovertravel are doing £1 seats throughout June. Worth a look.
