www.spotify.com dont know if anyone has heard of the program

A decent website for people who want to listen to music very easy, make playlists and etc

Has done me a few favours for listening to bands who are playing at leeds/reading who i havent heard much of.

It is legal and plus it has all radiohead, kings of leon, arctic monkeys and probably most of the confirmed bands albums on ;)

I've had it for a while and I personally think it's genius!

It's really quick on finding newer albums also, the new Fightstar album for example, is on there, which is what i've been listening to all evening (Crackin' album btw =P)... Aswell, while i'm typing this as i've had a brainwave is the new Silversun Pickups album!!

RESULT!

Generally a fantastic invention, there's a pretty good selection of stuff on there, from all of the mainstream to some fairly obscure stuff. Though, personally, I'd like to 'get rid of' Roberta, it's still well worth having-great for checking out bands for the festival you're not familiar with.

It's fantastic isn't it. A great way to check out bands you haven't tried before, or to sample albums before you buy them. It's really efficiently updated too it seems - Swoon by Silversun Pickups was on there on its day of release, for example.

Another nice feature is that you can share playlists and add to them. So I can create a playlist, send the link round my friends and they can listen to and add to it. In fact someone on here already made a Reading playlist, but as I'm not at home I don't have the link to hand...
