saw it somewhere on one of the official forums. Said he spoke to Geoff at GIAN. Could easily be a lie, but id imagine its true tbh. Dont see any reason to make it up, and they look pretty likely with the new album and all

Think this is very likely and splendid news, would be a great top 2 on the lock up with Rise Against. Would make up for the junk on the Saturday.

Lock up is shaping up nicely...

EDIT: Someone on punktastic says A are headlining the lock up too... wouldn't write it off although I've not got a clue whether there is any reason to believe them, could easily be BS.

People in the thread were just saying stupid bands to headline. It was clearly a joke.

Plus didn't someone on PT call A headlining years ago and was shot down and then it turned out to be true, so it was proberly just an ongoing joke.

I am 99% A won't be headling or even playing R+L

To be honest I wouldn't say we have any realistic headliner rumours yet, except Rise Against which I'd say it pretty much dead cert for one day. Rancid and NoFX are mentioned every year... guess you can't write Thursday off either though... FFAF maybe? :/.

I doubt A would headline though, second from top seems more likely imo. Tis a shame we're still without Dillinger Escape Plan Rumours >_>.

D.E.P would be so good.

Rancid this year though, the new album, and the way Mike Davies seems to be putting off their appearance on the show and the leeds announcement. Its gonnaa happen. I can feel it in my bones ;)

Rancid would be a good headliner for the lock up - the tent would be chaos though hahaha (chaos in a good way :-p)

I think millencolin may play as they have euro festival appearances up on their website for August, although I couldn't tell if they were old shows or not as they weren't on myspace.

A were a phenomenal live band back in their day - they slayed the mainstage back in 2000 and the crowd went crazy - but I think their time has passed now.

I would love to see f**ked Up or The Bronx on there - but I suspect the NME tent will have f**ked Up if they do play.

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
