i can't wait to see deftones!!!

i saw them at reading in 2000 and london docklands shortly after. they were awesome both times.

on a slightly seperate note.....any one else seen the bass players tribute site? they are trying to raise money for him to pay his medical bills.....how mad is it that someone in a huge band like deftones has not got medical insurance?! god bless the nhs!

Download 3 years ago they where amazing. Gutted they are not at Download tbh. They would go down so well, Along with Korn, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Static X and loads more Papa Roach hehe. God Damn Download is good this year!!

I'd really wanna hear Engine No. 9, Teething, Lifter or Feiticeira, but i'd be lucky haha. I don't really care what they play though, everything they've done is pretty sound allround.

How long set will they get, about 40 minutes or something?

5th from top is about 45 to 50 mins, albeit there was some talk KoL offered to play an extend 2 hour set or something. If that's the case the day will only have 9 bands and it'll be like a 55 min set :/.

It's okay though, Fall Out Boy will pull out and they'll play 4th .

Im guessing 7 words, Root, Head up, Bored, My own summer, Be quiet and drive, Change, Hexagram, Hole in the earth and Minerva.

Not really sure what to expect, but judging from what i can see of from them at bamboozle, i tihnk they played the majority of that list. As long as 7 words and head-up is played, i can die a happy man

They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
