Yet he still manages to post in other topics? :)

Pur-lease, he's a robbing cock. As I said before, its not even about what he took, it's just the principal of it. If this guy will give out his home address to nick some old VHS tapes, then he almost certainly wouldn't even think twice about slashing your tent at a festival, and grabbing whatever he could out of it.

i doubt that. he is a very dear friend of mine. he is a lovely bloke and i can assure you that this has all just been one huge mix up. it is not even his fault and the money is now in the post. i think you all owe him an apology when it arrives.

it upsets me that you make these kind of assumptions about someone. as i think i have recently been reminded by someone on this same issue. please don't go barging in on other peoples arguments unless you know the facts.

i've always seen these boards as being full of like minded people who enjoy festivals. but the way a lot of people have been talking on here is disgraceful. its not necessary and if you can't express your opinions about an issue that doesn't involve you, without making assumptions and being obsene, then please don't bother.

i see people on here asking for my friends address. do i then assume that they are a hired killer? of course not. please have a bit of faith in humanity. thats what glastonbury is all about. anyone could nick anything out of anyones tent. but usually they don't, thats because most people are nice and not out to get you.

i'm sorry that this argument has escalated so much, i don't think many people have shown their true colours. it is the diorganised mother of the culprit who is to blame and i don't think there is very much point in blaming her.

can we please now put an end to this?

thank you

    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
