  1. Do we think any of the acts on the first poster are doing a second set? Jamie XX for example
  2. We should let the sponsors decide the colours of the cows. There marketing guys will know best
  3. Can the festival not aspire to be more like that pinnacle of modern festivals.. Latitude Festival it's the one we all know is the best right?
  4. It makes sense to me. I mean I've definitely walked though a field of tents and noticed padlocks on zips. Especially if there bright metal that reflects the sun. Just because your tent enables you do conceal the padlock does not mean it will for everyone's tent. Ps won't be anything in mind I'd be bothered about being nicked and I'd never padlock it for fear that someone would wreck the tent easily getting in. Each to there own but personally I think pad locking a tent is a bad idea I'm sure I'm bot the only one
  5. I've worked with security at festivals they have consistently told me tents that are padlocked are 10 × more likely to be broken into as theives dont want to waste there time routing though tents with no valuables in so they target ones that clearly are protecting something. Padlock does absolutely 0 in slowing someone getting into a tent you can rip the zips open with your bare hands
  6. I think* (subject to poor memory) I have only ever seen 3 acts on William's Green. I'm not sure of the years. Public Service Broadcasting- busy but not overcrowded tent absolutely cracking hour of music. Let's Eat Grandma - about 20 people in the tent absolutely great set sad so few turned out to see it Big Moon. - tent was absolutely rammed could just about hear from outside it was billed as a secret set and got the impression that a lot of people went just for the secret and were not familiar with them probably would not have gone to see them of they were on the line up. I guess good PR for the act if nothing else
  7. He needs to stay of the Vodka
  8. How dare you be pedantic.... said the guy who posted a list of 30 names to disprove another forum users post..... Lol 😉
  9. Very slim chance he will be at Glastonbury I guess gig in Turkey on 29th, But I'd love Christian Loffler to do a set somewhere. Be this years Max Cooper
  10. I'm a little surprised that the solution was to get rid of the whole stage. Clearly booking the big names on there particularly Thursday, were causing issues. But no problem with the smaller acts on the rest of the wknd. That being said the absence of the William's Green stage had no negative impact on my Glastonbury 23
  11. Lol forgive me one though wikipedia says 2021? Are you thinking of Lucy Rose?
  12. Copy and paste the feedback form answers for why I'm returning my ticket. 1- I go every year and think for some reason its entirely reasonable to expect the festival to pick no acts I've seen before 2- I haven't listened to any new music since 2006 and get angry when I see names I don't recognize, what is SZA dont you dare suggest I try listening to other things. 3 - I see a couple of names I don't like on the line up and call it sh*t, the il have to watch Coldplay headline the Pyramid so I can say how sh*t they are on facebook after the festival no I won't go to other stages 4 - is too hard for you to pick a lineup containing only Landfill indie!!!! (Please attempt to take this comment in a jovial fashion)
  13. Come on seriously! This is the most wide of the mark line up criticism I have seen yet Here is a list of 30 names from the first poster who did not exist in 2011. Dua Lipa, Little Simz, Blondshell, NewDad, Last Dinner Party, Olivia Dean, Seventeen, Ayra Star, Anne Marie, Nothing But Theives, Confidence Man, Jungle, Heilung, Nia Archives, Black Pumas, Jordan Rakei, Masego, Squid, Arlo Parks, Remi Wolf, Yard Act, Kneecap, High Vis, Kenya Grace, Soccer Mommy, Eliza Rose, Fontains DC, Declan McKenna, Barry Can't Swim, Bar Italia. And yes I did take that 2011 comment too seriously. 🙂
  14. Yeah this is an underated booking definitely
  15. Either back on 74 by Jungle or Sunsleeper Barry cant swim
  16. Out of likes so this. Silver Hayes was reborn last year cant wait for the poster
  17. Haha probably I am sometimes aware my ability to look at basically any festival line up and find the positives sometimes irks those who look at things the half empty way. Fully enjoyed getting to know some new acts from the first poster. I'm on 27 acts I like and counting!!! Just enjoying listening to self confirmed Dr Meaker.
  18. Lol ok then, I'm not a regular poster but do I normally expect your reply 30 seconds later whenever I post lol. Il let you of in any case
  19. And I wont stop you. I wish I could you seem to reply to everything I post on here with something negative. Would it be ok if I playfully refer to you as Caledonian Buzzkill from now on?
  20. I mean it's got some of both tonnes of new acts on the line up. Folk are disappointed because folk love to pick fault and moan its hobby for some. Whatever is on the poster every year will generate some discontent. Tonnes of people dont go ever years so get excited about seeing a lot of these regular acts. In a year with two fresh headliners as well as a load of other new acts I'd also say complaining about the returning acts seems like moaning for sake of moaning. You guarantee that post festival you will have had your fill of amazing exciting music.
  21. I think the undercard is amazing, some really some exciting acts in there. Alongside a fair amount of regular favourites. Absolutely 0 complaints from me on undercard front. Maybe its time to turn a disappointment with the undercard Into a expansion of musical horizons
  22. Agreed I have to bite my tongue when people get frustrated there is not a big legacy act on the poster. It definitely triggers me a little. Very small pool of acts like this that could even be in consideration . Should be considered a big positive when they can score on of them. But should not count against the festival when they cant. .
