Possibly a quote of the Thingy's tweet the other day saying it has been 3 years to the day since the October 2020 sale was cancelled.

A bit?! I love DR but her set was a bit of a car crash.

My wife and her sister are huge Swift fans (been to her last 5 tours). We got tickets to one of the Dublin dates and I am down as the lead booker. I had always planned to get myself a ticket as a back-up if I can't get Glastonbury tickets (the TS concert is the Glastonbury Saturday) - but now I'm worried that Ticketmaster/the promoter have since introduced that the lead booker has to attend (they've said don't buy tickets as gifts, etc for this reason). This was introduced after the sale - surely this won't be enforced? I'm terrified that I get lucky in the Glastonbury sale and I sell my ticket to a family member and then none of my allocation of 4 can enter as I wont be there...

Rod Stewart could be another (poor) option at some point
-
Carole King Stevie Nicks

Excellent single - If there are any delays getting the 2nd female headliner over the line I wouldn't be surprised if OR gets a call... Can't see her being any lower than sub if she does play in '24

What do we actually know at this point in time? If Taylor plays, it can only be Sunday Foo Fighters have a show in the UK on Thursday, then are free the rest of the weekend (wasn't there some talk they had a show in Fri/Sat too?) Emily has said there could be 2 female headliners (https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/somerset-news/glastonbury-could-two-female-headliners-8210274) Is there anywhere Emily has said there will be 2 female headliners? Does anyone have a link to when Emily said they hadn't played before? Headliners could maybe also mean Legend slot, or sub (like Lizzo this year)

No extra Dublin night added in the first wave on Europe additions...
-
I think it'll be one of those sets that if you look back in the future on an individual song it won't sound that good but as a complete performance, stacked with hits, it will be hard to beat.
-
Sadly before my time but I do love Neil Young. Unfortunately that set seems to be lost in time - no footage of it anywhere!
-
For me, Macca was better as I'm a big Beatles fan. I think Elton will be ranked as better for those who are indifferent between The Beatles & Elton.
-
Has to go down as one of the greatest headliner sets of all time
-
Rina & Brandon Flowers apparently (According to SecretGlasto)
-
Very random choice of guest. One more up and coming... Rina? Then one not... Dua or Kiki Dee I'd say
-
Agreed, Jacob, Dua, maybe Rina & one other (Kiki Dee?) would be my guess
-
Still no sign of Phoenix...
-
This performance is going to make ticket day so much harder...
-
Yeah, I'd say Oasis is the only chance this crowd ever gets beaten.
-
Sounding a little worse now.. struggling to make out the individual words. But it's Elton John, so no matter what it will be quality
-
Sounding decent so far
-
Yeah - still maybe a 10% chance, but no doubt more shows will be added in Dublin which will fully rule her out
-
Agreed - he was never going to be everyone's cup of tea but he is talented Third down before someone like Lizzo (then Elton) would've been perfect.
-
I think it's pretty decent! Not as good as Lizzo yesterday but still enjoyable
-
I wouldn't have liked to have seen her at IoW in that case! Found her to be very disappointing - ended up switching to The Hu who were much better
-
I think Fender's album will be out a lot sooner than that, possibly this year
