Not answering the question really but Lisa Nandy was on sky news earlier and said she is confident a deal can be reached and strikes averted. Fingers crossed the workers get the deal they deserve and the strikes are called off.

I'm really hoping not too much. I'm catching a 7.05 train from cornwall which is on the main line to Paddington so I'm confident that train will be running okay, but it's changing at taunton I'm concerned about as it's not a main line from Taunton to castle cary. Surely they will have to put something in place or else thousands of us Glastonbury goers will be stranded there..

I'm hoping there will be trains running from taunton to castle cary on the Wednesday, as that's gonna be the main station people are changing trains. Surely they aren't gonna have thousands of people just stranded in Taunton Station.

Accuweather updated this afternoon, now only showing a brief shower on the friday, dry rest of the festival and the week before!

Why can't u catch the train on the Wednesday? You don't need to be there Tuesday anyway surely..

Yeah it's a horrible clash. We decided on amyl due to Turnstile being on straight after. Also saw fontaines twice in 2019. Would definitely be seeing them again if not for this clashtastrophie.

Yep! We were right at the front, and soaking with sweat. Some guy right behind me was on someone's shoulders and kept lighting flares, so I had red hot ash landing on my back on top of 50 degree heat!

I actually melted in the John Peel tent in 2019.
