To repeat. It’s someone with NO shows announced. White female singer. Around 30 age. So ice Spice & Charli ruled out. That’s rules out SIA too.
-
SIA would pull people in though TBF. She’s a big name and not toured since 2017 so a lot of people (myself included) will want to see her
-
I’m really tense now to know if it’s Sia or not
-
Paramore would be great. I would also come if they get announced. but I think it’s unlikely
-
Isn’t Katy Perry going to be too expensive? She also already has dates announced. I guess Pink could be possible
-
Or a lorde comeback.. lol. Lorde / Macklemore duo again . 🤣
-
Oh that’s a shame, I always wanted to see SIA. I loved her previous albums.
-
Why not ? If I may ask?
-
I think we’re looking realistically at SIA then. And they will probably announce her as an exclusive . if it is SIA, I’ll be coming to Budapest this summer. I always wanted to see her
-
I just question whether SIA would actually play a show this year given she hasn’t released her new album yet and she has no other tour announced
-
Ellie Goulding is actually really good live, I saw her twice last year.. But as a Sziget headliner… that kind of falls flat. SIA would be a huge comeback. Especially as she’s releasing a new album. And as an exclusive too. If it’s SIA, I will come to Sziget. She’s not done a show in years .
-
It will most likely be what we know already + a lot of smaller names and (possibly) a female headliner.
-
We know almost all of the 'big' names anyway: Tom Odell/Mo/Skrillex/Editors/Liam Gallagher/Raye- there were a couple of others I've forgotten which I'm sure are in there too. The only thing we really don't know about is the female headliner - or if there is even going to be a female headliner. So that's the biggest surprise tomorrow really. (Unless Raye will be pushed up to female headline spot?)
-
Never heard of any of them lol
-
I think she was ruled out a couple of weeks ago
-
The last one is surely loyle carner ? edit: ignore me, only one r in the last one
-
What about SIA for 2025? She’s going to be coming back with a new album. Could be a main stage sub?
-
The bus is called ‘Rede Expressos’ and they run from Porto bus station to the festival.
-
Definitely, but it’s dependent on the success of the album- because Solar power wasn’t viewed as a ‘commercial’ success, it’s going to be interesting what the next album brings. I already thought Lorde would be possible for R&L 2025/2026 and also Isle of Wight would be possible for her, so maybe she wouldn’t do glasto again, although she did say it was a dream of hers to play Glastonbury before, but maybe that’s been ‘fulfilled now’. I agree about not ‘forcing’ anyone into the top spot, it will be interesting to see how this year’s headliners do.
-
Lorde subbed in 2022 so I reckon she would take that spot again rather than be on the other stage. Raye I don’t know whether she would be sub on main or headline the other stage
-
I reckon Lorde could sub in 2025 too if the new album is released this year / early next year
-
I think people can be ‘grateful’ that this is even going ahead with the other European festivals from Lolla cancelled. I think this is the worst line up of any major festival this summer though
-
Totally agree with you!
-
For me (although I didn’t get a ticket) this line up is great. Not the strongest headliners, although I would see all three, but the undercard is great. Some cool names in there like Jessie ware and Avril lavigne
-
Skrillex is headlining roskilde yes
