  2. ANYWAY… Pains me to say but new album is quite mid. Couple of album tracks that caught my ear on first listen (End of an Error, Falling Forever, Happy For You) but also quite a lot of stuff that is incredibly unremarkable and even sounds unfinished. Far more chilling at the beach than throwing shapes in the club. Clear to see why the singles were chosen as some of this other stuff is so incredibly inconsequential. That said, the singles + some of the stronger album songs added to the setlist and we’re still on for a goer - not gonna be any massive dips in the setlist that lose the crowd or anything like that.
  3. Busted are busy on the Friday so that’s at least one unannounced act there in an impossible placing so although I think a lot of those names are possibly semi-realistic due to tour dates etc, I don’t think there’s any reason to think there’s any inside info going on here - just guesswork.
  4. I’ve come around massively to Houdini. It’s not enough of a departure from the FN stuff to properly capture the conversation like that album did, but it’s still a bit of a banger and reckon it’ll properly pop off at the festival. Her album rollout has been a bit of a shiter and hopefully not a sign of the album itself being a bit of a flop, but even if it is, her set will be great regardless imo. FN + the couple of songs she plays from the first album already mean she’s got enough hits to bring the heat
  5. ORod cancelled. What a shambles: https://x.com/thecooplive/status/1785756104514806177?s=46&t=iaGP6ZGqnTnA42DDzuUIgQ

    2025 Headliners

No way Billie will be back to headline so soon, but assuming those dates remain free I’d put money on her coming out as a special guest for somebody - Olivia maybe.
  7. Seems she’s third down on the Sunday, so for me, Avril Lavigne. Maybe not so much of a problem for others 😅
  8. I take drugs almost every day and my life’s pretty… Oh… …oh no.
  9. It differs from year to year where the secret sets are and how many there are so wouldn’t go expecting anything based on previous lineups. Don’t think there were any big ones in 2016.
  10. Never heard of these before today and now genuinely gutted I’ll be missing them, would be such a fun way to start the Friday, especially as I’m currently missing my Glastonbury metal fix.
  11. Yeah my current plan is to do Simz and then leg it over for the rest of Streets, although Orbital has now also thrown their hat in to that equation so will be a decide on the night type deal. Should definitely be able to do good chunk of at least two of them though.
  12. Kneecap - Mannequin Pussy - Soccer Mommy potentially looking like a great way to kick off my Saturday if it works out that way. Doubt I’ll be heading over there for anything else over the weekend though.
  13. Voice of Baceprot, an Indonesian all female metal trio are opening Woodsies on Friday. Unfortunately seems they’re gonna clash with Sofia Kourtesis so most likely a miss for me, but seem like they’d be a mega fun act for anybody looking for something to rock the morning comedown away.
  14. Yeah self confirmed at one of their gigs a few weeks back.
  15. Just gonna get worse and worse over the next couple of years. Acts, especially ones with stan-like fanbases, have realised people will fork out insane amounts to see them and they’ll just keep pushing and pushing until eventually sales begin to dampen, but the FOMO from fans means that probably isn’t gonna happen for a while.
  16. James have already confirmed themselves for the Sunday so they’re not the Saturday TBA.
  17. Kim Gordon being booked but automatically being caught in a clash is an absolute f**ker.
  18. Either being squeezed on to the Park as a secret set or potentially going up against Shania on Other. Don’t think there’s room for them as a secret set on Woodsies, right?
  19. Most likely scenario is he/his people were putting the feelers out for some comeback shows but it never ended up happening. As for SZA being on Other, I’d thought about that myself, but SZA vs Dua seems very unlikely, and although she might be a small-ish Pyramid headliner, she still feels too big for Other headliner, so no idea what went on there (although suppose a Lana comparison could be made). Maybe there was a lot of shuffling around before the lineup dropped with a few friend of festival favours called in to fill the gaps hence the seeming abundance of them topping stages.
  20. They were a last minute booking apparently. No idea who dropped out but one of Idles said they were still signing contracts as late as the week before the lineup release. I think they’ll pull a decent crowd as an alternative to Dua, but yeah, clearly not first choice, and the Fontaines clash is a baffling one.
  21. They’ve commented a picture of a dove on the instagram post so already getting the world out. It will indeed be rammed. They’re also apparently doing their Chroma show on IICON one night.
  22. Yep, day splits, running order and act info also here: https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/west-holts/
  23. No reason there couldn’t be a second, especially as it looks like there’s no room for one on the Park.
  24. Think it was at one of their gigs, and yeah either that or halfway down Other/possibly as a guitar alternative to Shania.
  25. They’ve self confirmed for Sunday.
