  1. I feel like there are about 5 acts that fit the 3rd down Pyramid category - Elbow, Sam Fender, Doja Cat, Lorde, Wolf Alice etc. and none of them feel a quite big enough to be Pyramid sub, and none seem to feel like a good fit for Other headliner on the Saturday but I feel like one of them is. The ideal other headliner up against Paul mccartney is like an electronic/dance type act with a young fanbase but none are that other than maybe like Doja Cat but we have info that she's on Pyramid. One we haven't spoke about is maybe Wolf alice headlining Other saturday? Doesn't feel a perfect fit with them having some crossover with the mccartney audience, and then having 2 rock bands as other headliners (Foals and Wolf Alice) feels weird, but then they were originally booked for the Other stage in 2020 so they could have had a bump up? They've headlined smaller festivals before and headlined a stage at R&L a few years back so not that they couldn't do it
  2. I reckon they'll mess with us today and drop an announcement, but it won't be at 10am. I'm going with 4pm.
  3. My guess: This week - Kidzfield, The Common Next week - The Glade, Acoustic, Block9, Croissant Neuf Week after (16th May) - Unfairground, Pilton Palais, West Holts, The Park Week after (23rd May) - Full lineup
  4. Can see them potentially Pyramid early in the day now. Seeing lianne la havas pop up with them
  5. Announcement at 10am today perhaps? Either new map/kidzfield/shangri-la is my bet
  6. I think we're due 3 announcements this week, there are a lot more still not announced and we usually get a lot in early May. We've had less announcements this year than we usually get by this time. Thinking the next 2 are kidzfield and Shangri-la. Tomorrow and Friday let's go.
  7. Thinking we'll get 2-3 out of the below areas: -Kidzfield -Shangri-La -The Glade -The Common
  8. Yeah could be that we're wrong about the Khruangbin park headline on Friday and it turns out they're early afternoon Pyramid instead. Four tet headlining Park friday with Caribou headlining Saturday feels a bit wrong though. Could be Mitski or even Phoebe Bridgers on the Park Saturday with Caribou subbing WH or John Peel saturday.
  9. I don't think that's the big thing we're all getting wrong though, a lot of us have been predicting that
  10. Sam fender isn't 3rd down Other, and is actually subbing Pyramid? Can see that being the case
  11. Thinking maybe the map and kidzfield this week, maybe thursday and friday?
  12. Ah ok swap Sigrid and Roisin Murphy round!
  13. I guess there's room for Herbie Hancock/Angelique Kidjo to be swabbed round and maybe Doja subbing Kendrick rather than Lorde, but that's pronably about it. Ah OK for some reason i thought it was just that she was on JP and the third down thing was more just 'probably 3rd down'
  14. Whoops i meant to put Khruangbin as Friday Park headliner and Phoebe on Pyramid Saturday! My mistake!
  15. Friday: Pyramid: Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Wolf Alice, Olivia Rodrigo, Crowded House, Rufus Wainwright Other: Foals, Supergrass, Blossoms, First Aid Kit, Sleaford Mods, St. Vincent West Holts: Four Tet, Bonobo, TLC, Seun Kuti Egypt 80, Greentea Peng John Peel: Primal Scream, Sigrid, Roisin Murphy, girl in red, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Inhaler Park: Phoebe Bridgers, Arlo Parks, Confidence Man, Black MIDI, Warmduscher, Wet Leg Saturday: Pyramid: Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, HAIM, Kacey Musgraves, Phoebe Bridgers, Koffee Other: Megan thee Stallion, Burna Boy, IDLES, Big Thief, Metronomy, ?, Skunk Anansie West Holts: Little Simz, Leon Bridges, Joy Crookes, Celeste, TEMS, Gabriels John Peel: Glass Animals, Mitski, Easy Life, Beabadoobee, Dry Cleaning, Ghetts Park: Caribou, The Avalanches, Self Esteem, TBA (Paolo Nutini), JARV IS..., Squid, Sampa the Great Sunday: Pyramid: Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Elbow, Diana Ross, Angelique Kidjo, Herbie Hancock Other: Pet Shop Boys, Years & Years, Sam Fender, Declan McKenna, Griff, Lianne La Havas West Holts: Bicep, Jessie Ware, Nightmares on Wax, Snarky Puppy, Nubya Garcia John Peel: Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Turnstile, Amyl & The Sniffers, Yves Tumor, Rina Sawayama Park: Fontaines D.C, Clairo, Holly Humberstone, Courtney Barnett, Cate Le Bon, Emma-Jean Thackray
  16. Thinking Kidz field and either Theatre/Circus or Shangri-La
  17. Silver Hayes finally! Roll on kidzfield and Shangri-La next week.
  18. Wolf alice could be playing Friday or Saturday, but rumours around here put them 3rd down Pyramid or subbing Other Friday. There is a chance Little Simz is clashing with McCartney on Saturday but I think she's looking more likely clashing with Billie Eilish Friday.
  19. Usually in the past we get 1 avalon act playing a bigger stage too 2019 - the Cat Empire on Other 2017 - Hot 8 Brass Band on West Holts 2016 - Newton Faulkner on Other 2015 - K.O.G. and the Zongo Brigade on West Holts 2014 - Dry the River on John Peel Who do you reckon it might be this year? Thinking we could get Citizens of the World Choir opening Pyramid.
  20. Silver hayes thursday is my guess, then Kidzfield and Theatre & Circus next week
  21. Will we be getting Avalon and Silver Hayes this week?? I don't think Avalon is today as I guessed but hopefully soon!
  22. I think a lot of artists are putting things like this, and i don't think it necessarily means they're playing twice, think they're just filling the gaps on their tour dates. As much as he could be playing with Khruangbin Friday he could be playing with The Avalanches on Saturday.
  23. So we saying this is legit or not? Feels like a bit of a low booking for them and weird to say "3rd on other stage" rather than just other stage - maybe i'm reading into it too much
