  1. I mean either that or she trots out a cover of YNWA to make Evertonian and Manc heads fall off
  2. State of Grace and The Lakes personally but I’d take pretty much anything she’s played so far except Everything Has Changed or I Almost Do tbf
  3. Night three in LA won the whole tour.. Death by A Thousand Cuts and You’re On Your Own Kid.. oof.. last night definitely in the running for second place though The selection of songs she never played on the US leg takes in a whole range, from baffling (Epiphany) to understandable (Bigger Than The Whole Sky and London Boy). Absolutely brutal but fair that she never did Me! or End Game hahaha.
  4. I’m most excited for the cardigan this time, partner bought the purple Speak Now one so I need a light blue 1989 one to match
  5. There are tweaks to the mixing and the occasional string section added but not much changes
  6. Vastly improved album art. Now we just have to hope the rumours of a Harry Styles feature are off the mark 🤢
  7. nah The 1 is the only remotely missable track out of that Folklore set. Suspect there’ll be a rush for the bogs during that one, especially after the All Too Well marathon immediately preceding it. Different story if it was still Invisible String in that spot but alas.
  8. Think in all reality on the night itself we’ll appreciate the opportunity for a toilet break, there aren’t many obvious moments to dip out beyond that.
  9. She’s already missing the lead singles from Lover, Debut and Speak Now and Willow and Cardigan are hardly ‘laugh a minute bangers’ either so LWYMMD probably forced its way in as a concession to people who only know her radio hits, sadly.
  10. Yeah the order would need rejigging without Karma in there but it needs to go, it’s sh*t. Maybe move Anti-Hero to the end to stop the locals leaving early or whatever. The one I definitely wouldn’t move is Mastermind, the way that builds towards the end work perfectly for a penultimate song.
  11. Fond memories of that guy on here a few years ago who insisted that Rammstein were a Pyramid headliner in waiting.
  12. Agree. Midnights is the weakest part of the show in terms of song selections, replacing Vigilante sh*t and Karma with YOYOK and Labyrinth would help massively. Don’t see her making many changes for the European leg though really, apart from adding Castles Crumbling.
  13. At which point the argument will presumably change to “bUt sHe DoEsN’t pLaY sTaDiUmS” and round and round we go
  14. Surprised there was no appearance from Mr Vernon
  15. Four years between albums and now abandoning disco. Doing her best to sabotage any momentum, fair play
  16. Describing Sour as merely “decent selling” rather than one of the biggest debut albums of the streaming era where the four main singles each did a billion on Spotify and every other album track also went at least Silver 🤡
  17. She’s done no promo for the Speak Now re-release at all, entirely believable she’s ready to move on already
  18. New single Friday. Can’t wait
  19. Best pairing of surprise songs since night three in Foxborough got I Think He Knows and Red. Gits
  20. Okay ❤️ it’s a bop regardless so who cares
  21. Eh I’ve never seen another song labelled like that, it’s usually either ‘feat [band name]’ or ‘feat [singer’s name]’. It usually wouldn’t bother me but it just contributed to the sense that song was aimed at children.
  22. Another non-Midnights surprise song she’s performed twice. There are no rules ❤️
  23. Lover is fine if a bit soppy, You Need To Calm Down slaps when you play it at 1.25x speed and ignore the classist tropes in the video, and The Man is cute enough once you get over its idea of feminism sounding like it was pulled from a Tumblr post made in 2013. Me however is irredeemably cringe, right down to the title feeling the need to patronisingly specify it features “Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco” as opposed to all those other Brendon Uries we might have accidentally thought it was otherwise. No coincidence that’s one of the few singles from Red onwards that didn’t make the Eras setlist. As I say though, aomits every other song on the album bangs so no harm done.
  24. The best she can hope for is an out of court settlement or her lawyers crushing her accusers into submission. But either way the damage is surely done. The knives will be out when she next attempts to release music/tour, and the tone of that statement yesterday doesn’t exactly give off the impression she’ll have the humility to successfully navigate those choppy waters.
  25. Spot on. Rep and Lover went hard once you ignored the singles, but she still lucked out with Covid forcing her to cancel that tour and undergo a creative reset. Dare say the pandemic benefitted her more than pretty much anyone else on earth tbh.
