Kinda think something has to happen here to inject a bit of drama.
Exclude all Prog Rock bands

I think it's natural isn't it? I'm sure you have some art/music/culture you really love, and you'd love others to be able to experience it the same way you do. If that makes sense.
(I genuinely wasn't meaning to come across patronising, by the way!)
Not taken that way all matey.

I feel sad for you that you don’t/can’t enjoy them, genuinely.

Radiohead more important than the Rolling Stones? Lawdy. Get.a.grip. Most important band since the Beatles? They’d struggle to make the Top 10.

Ok, fair enough.
Nothing hits me like a Radiohead show does. That baseline in Exit Music may just be the best single live second I've ever witnessed at a festival.
Genuinely jealous - appreciate that it may well be my ears that are lacking. Lord knows I've tried over the years with them. It just sounds like Prog Rock to me.

It seems Ted Danson's Wig really really doesn't like Radiohead.
I dont mind them. I was at 2 of the three so called legendary main stage nights. The first one was OK (though I've seen better). The last was (IMO) excruciating.
Its Abingdon I dont like. Dreadful place.

I love the film The Remains of the Day but my one time I ventured into reading his books really put me off. I read The Unconsoled. Just saw this on Wikipedia for it as I had to look it up to even remember the title and this is quite a good summation.
The Unconsoled was described as a "sprawling, almost indecipherable 500-page work"[1] that "left readers and reviewers baffled".
I might read The Remains of The Day some time at least I know I like that story.
You've just made me feel a lot better about the Unconsoled. I gave up on it (which i always hate doing) as I didnt have a clue what was going on. Good to hear that not all of it was me.

Been a long time since I've enjoyed a novel as much (though admittedly I dont read that much fiction).

Don’t you dare change it. Coming on here once a day and taking 10 points off Radiohead is the only thing keeping me sane during lockdown
