With Little Richard

sorry about that mate, but she insisted!

There's no way she'd headline Other. She played mid afternoon on West Holts last time.

Agree with others - major pain in neck getting in and out. You're memory of Glastonbury will be trudging up and down to the car. Plus - isnt the Glastonbury side likely to take you in and out of Gate B - which means you get the full horror of the Hill of Death every day?
We live about an hour from the site so (just about) its "commutable". Wouldnt dream of doing it though. Too much hassle, someone wouldn't be able to have a drink and we'd miss too much.

Arcade Fire: hour and half standing in a field waiting for them to play "Wake Up".
I'll get me coat...

I think if Daft Punk play, although I don't really think they will then surely they'll headline the Pyramid.
-
Don't you feel that's a little weak? Arcade Fire would be a little on the small side, plus I could see Plan B as an Other Stage headliner; I think he has a little time to go before being a Glasto contender.

And on t'other
Them Crooked Vultures
Jack White
Green Day

Plan B
Arcade Fire

You sure about that?

Its already pricy when you've got 2 kids who go. Last time we stayed in a tipi as well so - we had 4x £195 plus the cost of a tipi before we even got through the gate. We were lucky and had the money at the time so we splurged.
But the alternative? Missing Glastonbury?

Has to be Goan Fish Curry from West Holts. Same stall does loads of fests (have also had one at Womad) but not quite the same. Traditional first meal every year - Wed night

Still want Beach Boys

Hate that hill of death - specially on Monday morning at 6 am after no sleep. Childbirth, your first Oliver Stone movie and the hill of death. The three things in life that our psyche's are programmed to forget how horrific they are so we keep coming back.
Tipis are good as long as it doesn't absolutely tip it down (No pun intended). Our tipi was set up on the hill (where its sloped up from the Park) in 2011 which meant the whole bunch of us went to sleep at one side and woke up every morning by the door. Showers were good though. Wasnt enough of them - but thats being picky.

Has to be Chic - seems to have been on the cards every year for years

Excellent advice. Which is the CV park at the top of the hill by Gate B? Coming from Bath the last few years its the way we've come in. Might sound churlish in the light of those who didn't get tickets at all today - but could quite happily survive a year without doing the climb again.

Right - stage one complete and tickets purchased. After years of camping and then tipi in 2011 - going the soft southern sh1te completely this time and bringing a hired CV. Now I'm getting all stressed after reading a comment about it being difficult to get those tickets as well. How hard is it? Surely to god not as difficult as this morning? I hate ticket day...
