  2. True, still got my fingers crossed for big slots for bands like Enter Shikari and Sleep Token, drizzle some Turnstile, Spiritbox, Bad Omens and the like over it and I'd be content One of my best runs this year I sort of stumbled upon was on the Saturday in the Avalanche Tent, the heat was killing me off so I just stayed there for Blackgold - Casey - Kid Kapichi - Bob Vylan back to back and it was great
  3. Yeah my group will probably depend on the undercard, can't see us staying for the full set of any of those 3 headliners and probably shooting off on Sunday evening during whoever is last.
  4. Tell you what, I don't mind Loyle Carner, but subbing the main stage at Reading just feels odd What would you say is the closest UK festival that resembles the Reading of say 10 years ago?
  5. Finally got them going, only took his heaviest song! Hope he can keep them on-side now
  6. Bless him trying to get the crowd moving, they're all just nodding away haha
  7. Just updated the Reading clashfinder for today with the new set times on the app if anyone needs it
  8. Just some PR rubbish to try hype it up a bit, when in reality it seems like it's sold poorly in comparison to previous years
  9. Forgive the poor Paint skills but it was something like this on Sunday (I was very tipsy so apologies if slightly off!) Red was the route in and yellow the route out after, sorry this is just the Acton Town route, however follow the crowd and there are signs too Be warned in the arena the beers were all just Brewdog cans, recommend having a drink or 2 en route from Acton Town to the park (Sainsburys Local by Acton Town)
  10. Gunnersbury Park was 40,000 but I don't think it sold out and it felt less busy during them than Pendulum, definitely more likely to be picked up by Download but wishful thinking!
  11. After seeing Limp Bizkit tonight give me: Limp Bizkit and You Me At Six as the main two stages with Sleep Token on the third biggest stage headline
  12. Ooo hadn't heard about this one, otherwise another big female artist in that slot I'd guess, Dua Lipa? Maybe Boygenius?
  13. MSE: Paramore, Travis Scott, Fred Again MSW: Playboi Carti, Lizzo, Kasabian
  14. As much of a dream it is, Springsteen doesn't have supports on his tours (with the exception of randomly having Sam Fender for one Italian gig and the British Summer Time lineups being festivals), I'd love Gaslight to be at Slam Dunk but I can't see it I wonder if they'll try get Sleep Token/Spiritbox in big slots, you've got to assume Download will want them too so will be tough
  15. Zodiac's toilets were pretty poor, barely got maintained all weekend (same as last year), ended up going to the portaloos in the arena in the morning which seemed to be cleaned more regularly Never queued more than 10 mins for a shower though (if you knew which queue to get in) and Zodiac's location is brilliant, you can get anywhere in 10 mins max from your tent, no queue to get a wristband at 2pm on the Thursday from the car park and walk from the car was about 15 mins
  16. The Deep Blue, Cherym, Hi Sienna, Red Rum Club and Antony Szmierek are some I've got into since the line up was announced
  17. I think as long as you're not trying to wheel in a few big ol crates by yourself they'll be fine, not sure of many other festivals that limit the alcohol you can bring in without being able to buy more in the campsite? Hope the weather holds off as much as possible, Saturday looks questionable at the mo but fingers crossed!
  18. Yeah there's a few others like that; Antony Szmierek is on at 15:45 and at 16:45 in the Nest on Sunday (though I know it's the 16:45 slot), would be good for Truck to update these asap really!
  19. Hmm probably one to check with the stewards on the morning or pop an email or message to Truck, I do have friends getting a coach drop-off who are then doing the opposite and making their way to Zodiac, I think last year they may have been escorted through the arena but can't 100% confirm
  20. They've only announced 2 replacements for the 3 slots so I guess somewhere must have opened up! Mentioned above this makes The Snuts seem likelier than most, gutted about The Mary Wallopers though
  21. Anyone know any decent local bars showing footy before the gig? Brentford playing at home the same day at 2pm so imagine they'll be busy before and after that
  22. As gooner says correct, you can still upgrade to Club Class for £50 still for "lovely hot showers, real flushing toilets and a huge pamper lounge with access to free GHD’s, Hair Dryers and Mirror/ Make Up Stations." but tickets are limited.
  23. The 1975 // Fred Again The 1975 // Blink-182 The 1975 // Post Malone
  24. Not very far if similar to last year, I was in Zodiac and that was about 15 mins to Purple
  25. They're on the BST Hyde Park app!
