Watched Liam Gallaghers R&L set last night and personally think he’d be brilliant for it. Only question I have is if he’s too big?!
-
Just looked at ticket prices and noticed Tier 1 weekend tickets have gone up £20! Quite the jump. Annoying too as my daughter will be 13, makes it a lot more expensive for us.
-
Personally think he’d still headline it but have to say I was very surprised how big It was. I actually quite fancied Wolf Alice to headline it next year too!
-
Only done it a couple of years back. Wouldn’t actually surprise me if Liam done it next year (Victorious). If Noel is touring he’d be perfect for Macca sub
-
Last time it was Macca, Noel, HAIM, Aerosmith, Crowded House wasnt it?
-
Well we’ve decided to book our hotel again from this year, roll on 2022
-
But will listen to Billy drone on….
-
We’re tempted to go again but would need to find reasonably priced accommodation. Unfortunately the place we stayed this year has already jumped in price. Was pretty impressed by it though and would recommend it as a really good festival to go to. Headiners… Friday - James Saturday - Liam Gallagher Sunday - Wolf Alice
-
I used to worry too much about lineups. You can have a good time just seeing the odd band you know here and there
-
So back from our first Victorious (as a family)and I have to say we really enjoyed it. Yep the queues were long on Friday and similar but more spread out on Saturday. Sunday was very different and seemed a lot more relaxed. Food and drink was ridiculously expensive but I sort of expect that. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and we have to fill in forms prior to going for exemptions to take in food/drink for her. They literally didn’t look in our bags. Music was really good for the money. Our personal favs were The Kooks, The Streets, Supergrass, Blossoms and Rag n Bone Man. Watched a few of Royal Blood and they’re really good but the weekend had took it’s toll on the kids so we left early. If we can find somewhere reasonably priced to stay we’d certainly think about going again.

So spoke to someone who’s been for the past 5 years and they said generally the toilet queues are much worse on a Friday than any other day
-
No idea as it’s my first time but agree on the toilets queues being ridiculous. I’d hope that now the rest is opening up it’ll be more spread about or that you can just walk a little further for a shorter queue
-
I can hear the crowd now when she walks on to sub… boooooo, she didn’t get a number 1 album, get off!!
-
They’re subbing IOW this year
-
Sure you all know but was announced yesterday that Louis Berry is no longer performing
-
Just wanted to come on and say that I hope everyone has a cracker. I’ve been looking forward to it for so long and it’s the first that I’m taking my family to. roll on Friday
-
Weird they announced in now as it’s been on the lineup and set times for days
-
can you see Covid now?? That’s a new one on me But apart from that, yeah I’ve heard it was a shocker
-
Sadly clash with Frank and Cast! (Very annoying)
-
Yeah really good. Handy to have loads of time in the mornings too for the kids stuff
-
So our plan is set (would have liked Fontaines but going with the wife and kids so the Spice Girl won!). Any other recommendations barring the obvious big acts.
