For part of my dissertation i'm looking at the environment that music festivals take place in.

My question to you TITP regulars is about the festival's move from Balado to Strathallan Castle last year.

Can you just pick a music festival up and move it to a different site under the same name? Does the location hold history and significance to your festival experience that can't be replicated somewhere else?

I'd love to hear your opinions on this topic and any altering views you guys might have.
