Car park staying at hotel

Me and the misses have hired a hotel room for our stay at Glastonbury so will be travelling back at night to the hotel.

i am planning to stick around for a good few hours after the headliners so wont be leaving till the late hours.

 

was just wondering a how easy this is weather permiting and b how do you guys keep your tickets safe for entry and reentry

 

and as a back up how much is a taxi roughly for a 30 minute drive

When I broke my collar bone a fortnight before the festival we stayed in Frome. One day we drove in, bit sketch getting out of the parking due to the mud. Next day we drove to Shepton Mallet, parked on the Pay and Display and got the bus into the festival. Dead easy, got the bus back out later (check timetable). In summary, Fiat 500 and mud do not mix, shuttle bus was great.

Weather had improved by Sunday we drove in and out and it was fine. 

If you don't mind sharing, where are you staying?
