Hey Mark!

Phew, I was worried I was going to be the oldest person at Leeds fest this yr! I'm 30 and also have a fairly broad music taste! I've only been once before back in 2011! So I'm feeling like I'll be a bit old and sensible for it this yr but my wife booked us tickets.

We don't live far from you, just over the hill in Rossendale. However, we're going with my cousin & his g/f so our car is full I'm afraid!

If you wanted to meet up, the 4 of us are sharing a giant blue tent and we'll probs be pitched in purple camp somewhere cos I'm feeling I'll be a bit old to kick it with the kids down in  blue/red/orange camp! haha

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
