That is not what happened at all....

Yes there are chavs around, same as any festival, but nothing out of the ordinary. Everything was blown out of proportion by people on facebook. You dont think there is trouble at any other festivals? Do me a favour. Just yesterday i was reading about security guards at Glastonbury having a punch up with each other over beer.

The guy in question was kicking an inflatable around. It kept hitting the same person, who turned round and had words. He then punched him once in the back of the head. It ended up being fatal. You honestly think a guy was knocked down in the middle of a crowd then repeatedly kicked while everyone else looked on? He was knocked down, the guy bolted and many peopled rushed to help the guy on the floor performing CPR on him. It was a freak accident.

I think you need to click the link and maybe read what I posted above as you are wrong about what happened.

Me n my mates are locals and have been every single year and haven't once bumped into or seen any trouble once. In fact, I have seen more violence at other gigs and other festivals if I'm honest. It's luck of the drawer as they're gobshites every where.

What happened with the two incidents last year was awful. Shameful. But you can't tar 60,000 people with same brush. I have only ever met like minded people at this festival, who are up for a good laugh and like dancing to the best electronic music on the planet. And the odd good band too I might add. And I'm sure it will be the same this year too.

Understandable as to why there is doubt and skepticism though.

However I once saw a guy punch a guy for no apparent reason at a KOL gig and it was truly awful to witness. Worst thing I have seen at a gig / festival. It can happen anywhere.
