Campervan query

Hi All, first time in camper this year which is a vw t5 with RnR bed, removable kitchen pod (Home made ) and curtains. Will it be a problem getting into the camper van field i.e. does it need a full conversion?? Cheers

My little VW had the interior out when it was restored, and only the RocknRoll bed and curtains have gone back so far. No kitchen or cooking equipment. We never have an issue. Think the description on the site really aims to stop transit vans with mattresses thrown in etc. A T5 with a proper rocknroll bed will be fine.

Thanks guys, I'm now going in my t4 caravelle which is a similar thing bed kitchen pod so hopefully ok. I will be in East ;0)

You will be fine - any kind of cooking facility and a bed - saw one with just a camping stove screwed into small chest of drawers few years ago. Best effort that year went to a huge horse carrying lorry transporter that had a full 4 poster bed / chandelier and Victorian sink

See my cooking facility is more up market than that as my unit is a corner tv unit with camping stove screwed on top as i am waiting for my new units to be built but don't think they will be sorted in time. At least i will be in a caravelle though, hopefully i will be ok due to what you have said. Cheers
