Alan's big plate

I was thinking about all the food rubbish at festivals,paper plates all over the floor etc and how annoying it is,some festivals are better than others at this but I remember being at Latitude a few years ago and they had this system of charging £3 for a plastic pint beaker that they filled up at the bars,the rubbish was probably non existant,so it got me thinking maybe we should bring our own plastic plate and spork,most people carry a ruck sack and a simple rinse under the tap or a once over with a wet wipe,I think its time festivals started charging a little extra at the stalls if you want a paper plate,I'm sure this would have a massive impact and make for a more enjoyable festival for everyone.

Yeah, good luck with that then. If you think I am gonna carry anything around with me at a festival you are gonna be disappointed. A £3 plastic beer cup is fine, cos most of the day I'm holding a pint anyway.
