A few questions

Hi guys, been to a few festivals before but not v fest so there are a few things i wanted to ask.

Firstly is there a shop onsite? Obviously there will be plenty of food stalls but just wondered if there was a shop too?

Secondly, is red camp as bad as everyone makes out? Looks like thats where I will be staying as I'm up for a party but wanna be able to get a few hours sleep!

Is it worth leaving on the sunday night after the final act or just wait until the monday morning?

Finally, how easy is it to sneak alcohol into the arena, dont fancy paying out for that alcohol in there it soon adds up. I know plastic bottles are allowed to be taken in, so can you just disguise it in there?

- Yeah there's a shop onsite, but as you'd expect it's a complete rip off!

- I've camped on Red camp for the past 2 years and loved it, personally never had problems with it.. As everyone on the forum has said though it is noisiest and messiest and less spacious than other campsites

-I'm leaving on the Sunday night after the final act, but it's the first time I've ever done that so I couldn't be sure if it's better or not

-I'd say sneaking alcohol in is pretty easy, I've never been caught and I've gotten 70cl bottles into the arena before..

You couldn't hide it in a plastic bottle because they only allow 250ml bottles into the arena I think? And they've got to be sealed/unopened as well.

I thought you were allowed 1 litre bottles into the arena

Just checked the website, you're right it is 1litre. Now I'm really annoyed I got my brand new bottle of sprite took off me last year!

I think food is allowed, well I hope so at least because we are taking some in

Yeah I'm planning on cooking some pizza the night before and having cold pizza on the Saturday!
