Sad times

My first Glasto was 2011 and what a time we had! but because we were working hard to get a house we had to sit 2013 out. I distanced myself from everything related to Glasto to ease the pain but after watching it on TV at the weekend with a bottle of gin, I felt like sitting in a corner in the "house" and crying.

so, after all that sadness of missing out on the best weekend ever I have rallied the troops to register and go next year!

some of the people going are not into camping so we are thinking of getting a tipi. the ticket alone is hard to get but my question is are the tipi's hard to book?

I have seen pics of the tipi but would anyone have pictures of the inside?

ps. I promise to never distance myself again!

I went into one of the tipi's and wasn't too impressed, looked nice from the outside but I think they are so expensive for what is included. Also the people we met up with and was staying there said the showers we're freezing and the toilets were minging. I stayed at tangerine fields which was brilliant (I am really not a camper) u rock up tent is made, you can have blow up beds and sleeping bags, showers and toilets were lovely! Best money spent, apart from the ticket of course.

I had a 4 man tent in 2011 with a blow up bed. I didn't mind it to be honest I could sleep on a bed of nails if I was drunk. they are expensive but between 6 or 8 people its not really that bad.. I would sleep in a carrier bag at glasto if I had too, im just thking about friends that are heading over.
