hi everyone,

great line up again this year at Manchester's Strummercamp!

There will be 5 stages, offering a broad variety of great music.

a very familiar and relaxed atmosphere which you won't easily find anywhere else

three day adult tickets cost just 65,-, day tickets are available for 35,-

camping is free

it's a small festival, so tickets are limited

no, you're not allowed to bring your own alcohol. but the prices for food and drinks are very low compared to other festivals. you defintely won't get ripped off there! i say this as a long time fan and supporter of the festival, i'm not involved with the organisation.

Last year it was £5 for 4 cans in the festival, and adjacent is a rugby clubhouse with 'clubhouse' prices, the food is also relativley cheap, it will be similar this year, not rip off prices and no long ques!

Have heard good things about this festival, so we're quite tempted - but, we were wondering - does the free camping include parking for campervans?

Well, it looks like noone else here is going to this festival - but we're now taken the plunge and bought our tickets ;)

Back from Strummercamp. Excellent weekend, thought the TNS stage was superb.

Rained a lot but all under cover or in Rugby Club so didn't make a lot of difference.

Brilliant antidote to all the Jubilee bullshit.

Thanks to the organisers and roll on next year.

Just wanted to mention that NMA were robbed of their equipment the previous night but still managed to do a brilliant set with borrowed equipment - thanks, guys, nice one! :) We know for a fact that not all bands would have carried on regardless like that - and let's hope they manage to trace their missing equipment!
