Flares

Was it just me or did there seem to be LOADS more this year, especially during the headliners.

I like them; for whatever reason they seem much nicer than when I see them at a football match when they have a slightly threatening feel to them. At Glasto I think they add to the atmosphere (certainly more than the flags...)

Not sure if I'd be so delighted if one were right next to me mind.

I'm also less convinced by the use of flare guns. They just seems a bit dangerous to me and I don't think the pay off (distant falling light) is worth the risk.
