Burning the Wickerman

Have tried to post this before so apologies if you found it elsewhere.

Has anyone ever watched the burning of the wickerman? Used to happen on the Sunday/Monday, I think near the stone circle? Just wondered if it still happened every year and if so where, when, what time etc.

Yeah man, that's me. The drizzle put me off taking a wander last night, but determined to get out today and take some more photos for the blog.

To be fair though, this studio I'm decorating is fully carpeted, bone dry and toasty warm right now, so hard to feel any pressing urgency!
