Staff Travel - Tuesday (advice needed)

Just getting all organised for the small jaunt from Glasgow to Glasto next week and looking for some info re: getting on site on Tuesday.

The past few years we've got the staff bus or hired a car but this year we've unfortunately been unable to do either so it's the National Express on the Monday to Bridgwater where I have family.

They have offered to drop us off as close to site as possible which is awesome.

My question is this - from the map we've been sent it looks like Vehicle Gate 4 is closest to Paines, where we are camped. As last year we had a staff car pass (and also came in the wrong gate ) I have no clue if it's as simple as getting my uncle to drop us at the gate and walking in. Can he drive to the gate? Or are we looking at a massive walk from a different drop off point?

Does that make sense? Just freaking out as before it's always been completely straight forward.

Also, getting off site on Monday evening to be picked up again - any recommendations of where would be easiest/quickest to meet my uncle? It'll need to be later rather than early as I'm on the last lock up shift till 12pm.

Nah thats completely fair enough re: the Monday, I'd expected to have to go to a designated pick up point.

From the map, the closest pedestrian gate is D (to where I'm wanting to go) - is that usually open on the Tuesday?
