ok so i went on raileasy to check the trains but the train i wanted has a cross through it bit worried grrr so i was wondering if anyone knew why the crosses were there is it becasue there sold out or not availble yet i have emailed them but im waiting on a reply

It means they're sold out at the offer price (if there were any at that time at the offer price.) It's sometimes worth looking at slow trains (a little panel on the side that ays something like- we have not included slower trains in your search), you might find something. Hope this helps

if you try the first great western site they're booking up to 29 th june. just searched for the 22nd june and there are a good few cheaper tickets around.14 quid is about the cheapest london to castle cary I've seen,if you've got any kind of railcard that would bring it down further

thankyou for your replys its just so odd as ive kept an eye on it and they only came available on the 9th for returns not to worry i shall get there i do have a family rail card and found a one from newcastle to bristol then to castle cary

You might find it easier to go straight from Temple Meads to the site as there is a shuttle bus running and will probably get you there more swiftly and with less changes than getting from Temple Meads to Castle Cary then another bus to the site. We've done it one year and it was v good.
