Birthdays are a proper belter. Who doesn't like birthdays? We purely love them so we decided to have a fourth one and you are all invited to the party. And this geezer called Danny Howells wants to give us a present but instead of sending socks he's coming to play tunes for six hours. Bonus!

We think we're getting on a bit at the age of four, but our birthday guest has been DJing, prodiucing and remixing at the top level for six...teen years! Other than Antarctica, he has performed in every continent and is already booked to play the opening night at the first nightclub on the moon, which is scheduled to open next year.

The truly great DJs can play brilliantly for hours. In these days of low attention spans and standard two hour sets, it's easy for DJs to pick a few heavy tunes and shoot their wads in no time. Danny is playing one of his legendary six hour Dig Deeper sets. He is gonna seduce you towards his own climax then clean up after himself. Considerate, eh?

Oh yeah and did we mention that it's our birthday? Well it is. In these four years we have twice been nominated as 'Best Small British Club' by DJ Mag, headlined a massive festival in Russia, smashed up Amsterdam's biggest Queen's Day boat party and generated residencies in London and Moscow. So we are not just celebrating four years of fun, but all that we have achieved during this time. And of course we could not have done this without our pure bonkers crowd, so this party is for you guys!

Seeing as our headliner is playing from start to finish in the basement, we thought we would party upstairs too. In the bar will be the Micron residents (playing some different sounds from their usual basemnt sets) and Craig Torrance (murmur/Four:Twenty).

We strongly recommend buying tickets as they will sell out quickly. We can only guarantee entry with tickets before midnight (but you would be crazy not to arrive at 10pm to see Danny's full set).

We are happy to announce that we will NOT be charging higher ticket prices for this event. However, on this occasion there will be no free entry before 10.30pm.

Danny Howells. 6 Hour Set. Joshua Brooks basement. I think it's safe to say we're more excited about this than our actual 4th Birthdays, and let me tell you, they were special. By the age of 4, Bod had amassed a pretty impressive Hot Wheels collection, Gaz was having a whale of a time with his Girls World and Ronny had just received Rainbow and Bagpuss on Betamax. Good times.

Nearly HALF of the tickets have sold already, with three weeks to go, and with payday weekend rapidly approaching we expect to shift the other half in the next week or so, so grab yours now!

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
