Interesting. Its gone from my watch list too. I'll find out if he's done a dodgy deal outside of ebay on a dodgy Buy In Now - he never uses Ebay so won't care about crap feedback, OR whether EBAY has had it removed. There are still loads of tix on there, so would be surprised if they removed just the one.

I'm bored - how can I entertain myself?

I have an idea - I will check on ebay to see if anyone is selling a Glastonbury ticket, become morally outraged and put a link to the auction on a Glastonbury forum with a suitably over the top thread title indicating the depth of my indignation.

Or perhaps I'll walk the dog, or go to the toilet intead....

Cannot resist a good graph. All the prices are from efest index. Very easy to find them going back years.

Graph shows Glasto being the only festival of the majors that has bucked the recent trend of economic hardship and price stagnation (last 3 years - also approx reg system time) with sharp price rises. Job done. I will now retreat.

Yep as long as it did not go against my principles then yes

Selling tickets at inflated prices goes against my principles as it does with many on this site...

That's all you really need to understand...

There is no need for it and it perpetuates and legitimises touting.... Oh if they are doing it lets all do attitude... if you do it yourself your as bad as they are....

Even without the error, I hadn't noticed that the graph came from the person who was arguing that Glasto prices had risen faster than the market.

To me, the graph clearly shows that all the festivals have risen in price at around the same rate.

Glastonbury's has risen *slightly* more in the last two years, but not by a statistically significant margin, and two years is nowt.

This woman was trying to make a measly couple of hundred quid on a ticket. I dont care, some do so fair enough.

If somebody was to offer you a ridiculous amount of money for your ticket, say 10k, would you accept? Of course you would.

Morales and principles right out the window and i dont care what any of you say.
