there were dogs last year.... behind the fence in front of you as you walked in.

but i wouldnt worry about not gettin in... a group of boys in fron of us got stopped and searched. they found a bag of white powder and scales in one of there bags, they still got let in (obv without the coke).

jim monitors these forums on at least a weekly basis btw mate... not the best place to post.

well in that case, they will all know what a disagreeable wee knob you are, do you ever answer anyones questions or do you just come on here to annoy people with your "actually i disagree" statements?

No offence mate, but honestly, how the fu*k do you know? He may well spot on one of these forums (and theres nearly twenty!) how people may say they intend to drugs into the festival and then get his security to look for these ways time the festival arrives. There is some nuggets on efestivals that blurt that shit out and frankly they deserve to get caught.

Think about it.

1. security and police are not stupid, they know all the tricks.

2. they don't have the man power or resources do enforce stringent searches etc so even by seeing our methods they won't be able to do much about it.

Just logical :P

In all my festivals I have never been properly searched, they always just touch the outside of my bag etc and I can't see many festivals investing in literally hundreds of more staff so they can search everybody thoroughly.

I even have a mate who is a cop and worked at Rockness last year, even he admitted there is f*ck all they can do even if they wanted to :P

agree with most of it... but the fact is that theres been 2 drug related deaths at rockness already, giving them bad press. I reckon theyl put a bit more effort in due to the bit more added pressure they have on them.

but i agree that they wont spend the money on proparly searching everyone.

idiots go overboard on drugs... drugs (taken sensibly) can enhance your festival experience 10x!! but taking too much it will ruin yours, your friends and upset most people u meet.

but i agree there definetely not for every1.

If they did employ tons of sniffer dogs though, what are they going to do with the sheer amount of people showing up with Mephedrone, presuming it's still legal by then?. It's not like they can test it there and then to make sure what it is so you could say anything you've got is Mephedrone and they can't really do much can they?

What if you can prove it's Mephedrone?

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
